Here's the Deal
We're giving one couple a free wedding weekend at our farm. No catch. Tell us your story. We pick the couple whose story we love most. You pick your weekend — November 20–22 or Thanksgiving weekend, November 27–29.
This is a real wedding on a real timeline. You'll need to move fast — book vendors, send invites, figure it out. We'll help where we can, but the planning is on you.
We know this isn't for everyone. But we hope it's for someone.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
Eligibility
Open to couples where both partners are at least 18 years of age. Both partners must be able to legally marry in the State of Maine and be available for a wedding at South Road Farm on November 20–22 or November 27–29, 2026. Employees of South Road Farm and their immediate family members are not eligible.
Entry Period
Entries are accepted from October 26, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time through November 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. One entry per couple. Duplicate or incomplete entries will be disqualified.
How to Enter
Complete the entry form on this page during the entry period. All required fields must be filled in. By entering, you agree to these official rules.
Judging
The winner will be selected by the owners of South Road Farm, Nick and Dave, based on the following criteria: the couple's story, their fit with the spirit of the venue, and their ability to realistically plan and execute a wedding by the selected weekend in November 2026. This is a contest judged on merit, not a random drawing.
Prize
One (1) winner will receive exclusive use of one barn, courtyard, decks, fire pit, ceremony benches, arch, and the farmhouse (sleeps 4) at South Road Farm for the winning couple's selected weekend — November 20–22 or November 27–29, 2026 (Friday midday through Sunday midday). Approximate retail value: $5,000. Prize also includes vendor referrals and day-of coordination assistance from South Road Farm.
What Is Not Included
The prize does not include:
- Catering or food service
- Bar service or alcohol
- Table and chair rentals
- Officiant or marriage license
- Event liability insurance
- Transportation, accommodations beyond the farmhouse, or any other costs not expressly listed above
Winner Notification
The winner will be notified by email no later than November 4, 2026. The winner must respond and confirm acceptance by November 6, 2026. If the winner does not respond by the acceptance deadline, South Road Farm reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
Conditions of Winning
The winning couple must sign a venue use agreement covering rules, responsibilities, liability waiver, and cleanup expectations. The winning couple must grant South Road Farm full rights to photograph and video record the event for marketing purposes and agree to inform their guests that the event will be photographed and filmed. The maximum guest count is 50.
Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes applicable to the prize. South Road Farm recommends consulting a tax advisor.
Right to Close Early
South Road Farm reserves the right to close entries and select a winner before the stated deadline if, in its sole judgment, a suitable winner has been identified.
Right to Cancel
South Road Farm reserves the right to not award the prize if, in its sole judgment, no suitable entry is received.
